JJ Redick to Start in Game 6

JJ has gotten the nod to start in game 6 of the playoffs after Lee was taken out by a wayward Howard elbow.

Lee suffered a sinus fracture which required surgery today. Lee most likely will be out a couple of weeks and Redick as picked by SVG to replace his in the starting lineup. JJ has earned Stan’s trust by the way he played in the last game when Lee was knocked out of action.

Gortat is also starting tonight replacing Howard who was suspended for game 6 because of a flagrant foul (yes one of Howards deadly elbows though this was intentional). Gortat will also be getting his first playoff start. Starting for Howard is not a new thing for Gortat he was forced to do so during the regular season when Howard was hurt on a road trip out west. Gortat and team did extremely well beating everyone in their path while waiting for Howard to get better. So this present team can and will beat Philly tonight in Philly.

All of the “experts” have already written the Magic off and given this game to Philly. This is the perfect kind of ammunition for the Magic team to go out there and wipe the court with the 76er team tonight. Telling people that have to wait until Howard is back on the team before then can win is the kind of reporting all coach’s love and SVG is going to show everyone that this team is not just a one man team.
