JJ Redick to be traded to the Suns?

Rumor mill has it that the Suns have always had an eye on Duke’s JJ Redick from the time he entered the NBA with the Magic. Now Max Haggerty is speculating what would or could happen in Phoenix over the next few weeks.

Get G JJ Redick and picks for Suns $8 mil trade exception. Orlando is supposedly looking for another post player to improve their team for a playoff run. Redick hasn’t received consistent minutes since being drafted by the Magic and the Suns have been rumored to be interested in the former Duke sharpshooter as soon as he entered the NBA. He doesn’t exactly match the defensive qualifications that Kerr desires, but Phoenix is always looking for sharp shooters.

Not going to happen since the first thing mentioned the the Suns need is a defensive stopper not a shooter. Now I am not saying that JJ can’t play defense, but the number one player they are looking for is someone is about 6′7″ not 6′4″.
JJ will just have to suffer some more in Orlando. Though I do think that if things don’t work out next year JJ will go somewhere else.
